I have more questions than answers. I am not sure that your Phillip B. Hicks and my Phillip B. Hicks are the same person but I would like to try and find out.

The following is all that I know about him.
According to the 1880 census he was born in 1856 in England.

He Married Nellie Nevada Rice on 28 Oct 1876 in Nevadaville, Gilpin, colorado.

They had a Son Bertrude Hicks Born in 1878 in Nevadaville, CO

Phillip and Nellie were Divorced 12 June 1884 in Gilpin County.

This is all that I know about Phillip. I have much more information on Nellie.

I also am not sure what happend to their son. Any information that you could give me would be great.
