Curtis Cope
Mr. Cope, 71, died Feb. 17, 2000, at a local hospital. He was a retired real estate broker and served in the Air Force for three years.
Mr. Cope was born June 9, 1928, in Canon City, to Jesse Cope and Helen Cottam, who are deceased. He was married Jan. 14, 1967, to Helen L. Hauger.
He is survived by his wfie; a son, Bob, two daughters, Carol Tekavec and Robin Cope; a brother, Stanley; and three grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a sister, Betty Jo Hustead.
Memorial services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Shrine of Remembrance "America the Beautiful" Chapel of Roses, 1730 E. Fountain Blvd., 634-1597. A reception will be after services at Olympian Plaza Reception and Event Center, 875 S. Union Blvd. Private inturnment is planned.
Memorial contrubations may be made to Cheyenne Mountain Zoo Auxilary, 4250 Cheyenne Mountain Zoo Road, Colorado Springs 80906.
