I am searching for information on my great-grandmother's brother. August C. ENGEL was born in England in 1864. His mother died at his birth and his father brought him to America as an infant. He grew up in Nebraska and South Dakota, where he married a Kate Farrell in c.1890, who must have died. In November 1900 August married Rae/Raye J. DICKEY in Colorado Springs. The pastor was Rev. W.H.W. Boyle of the First Presbyterian Church. August belonged to a Masonic Lodge, at least he did at his death in Denver. I am trying to figure out when he arrived in Colorado Springs and what he was doing there, also something of his wife. I know she had a sister Margaret.

Any suggestions for how to find out more about August ENGEL would be appreciated. I would love to see an entry from a 1900 Colorado Springs Directory if anyone has access to one.
