My Grandfather, Frank Edward Jackson was born in 1917 in Colorado Springs to an Edna F. Melber. On the birth certificate there is no father listed. My grandfather was adopted at age 2 weeks by the Jackson family. Any information would be greatly appreciated as my grandfather is no longer living. It is believed that Edna was a nurse and perhaps married a Doctor Herron...or he was the father of the baby. A first name for him would be great, or a picture of Edna (or her sisters Josephine or Adele) or Dr. Herron. We are hoping for some clues to the father's lineage. Also, any communication from any living Melbers who are related to Edna or any of her sisters would be wonderful. Thank you so much. The picture here is of my Grandfather.
