Looking for my husbands family. His grandmother was:
{JENNY JUNE JOHNSON-Born 13 Nov 1894 at CRIPPLE CREEK,
EL PASO County, COLORADO.---- Died 09 Dec 1993 in KAMLOOPS, BRITISH COLUMBIA, Canada}. Jenny was the youngest of 13 children.
Her parents were:
{father-JOHN ALEXANDER JOHNSON, Born 20 August 1842, Place unknown: Died in Kamloops, British Columbia, Canada.}
{mother-ANNIE KRAIGE, Born 15 Jul 1850, Place unknown: Died 1895, somewhere in Colorado}, Annie died shortly after the birth of Jenny.
Parents of John Alexander Johnson and Annie Kraige are unknown.

We have no other information on other sibblings.
First of all, can someone locate any Birth, Marriage or Death records on any of these names. One little tidbit could open up a whole new world.
As far as everyone knows, the family stayed in Colorado up until they decided to go to British Columbia, over 10 years after Jennys birth and her mothers death. Not all of the sibblings came to Canada. Some family say that they came by Horse and Covered Wagon, some say at the last minute they sold the wagon, loaded the horses on the Train, and rode the Train to Vancouver, some say Kamloops.
Jenny was born before Cripple Creek became part of Teller Co. So where does a person go for those records. Is there anyone out there that has these names in their family history, or is there someone who lives in that area that would go and do some look ups for me. Maybe get me document numbers, or micro film #'s or tell me who I can get to do these look ups.
**In British Columbia you can now search the government sites for Births, Marriages and Deaths on the internet! (all during specific dates of course. Births over 100 years, Marriages over 75 years and deaths over 20 years. All beginning in the 1800's.)
Anyone who wants these ULR's just email me and I will send them to you. All provinces and states should have this little internet feature like B.C. does.**
Thanks for listening, hope someone can help.
Linda
