OBITUARY

John Sporer
Denver--John L. Sporer, 58, of Somerset, died at 2:05 a.m. Monday in St. Joseph's Hospital following heart surgery performed Saturday.
A miner, Mr. Sporer was employed by the Minerals Development Co. of Colo. A native of Durango, he was born March 15, 1901. He had lived in Somerset for 25 years.
Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Edna A. Sporer of Somerset; two step=daughter, Mrs. Alfred Jones of Rifle and Mrs. George Cowan of 249 Nancy St., Grand Junction; two sisters, Mrs. James Brady and Mrs. C. V. Flohr, both of Denver.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday in Moore's Mortuary, East 17th and Clarkson Sts. Burial will be in Fairmount Cemetery.
Friends who wish may make memorial contributions to the heart fund.
