1. Denver Rocky Mountain News Sept 9, 1909
"Announcement is made of the marriage of Miss Helene Gertrude Burton, the beautiful and accomplished daughter of Mr. and Mrs. A.C. Burton of 456 South Sherman Street to Louis Schraga, yesterday at St. John's chapter house by Dean H. Martyn Hart. Owing to the prominence of the contracting parties the wedding came as a surprise to their many friends, there being present at the ceremony only the parents of the bride and groom and a few very intimate friends. Miss Anna Coulson was the bridesmaid and Gus Schraga, the youngest brother of the groom, was the best man. The groom is the private secretary to Harry Van Mater of the National Fuel Company, and is well known in business and fraternity circles of this city. Immediately after the wedding, Mr. and Mrs. Schraga departed for a honeymoon trip to the Northwest, and will be home after September 25 at 639 Grant St. where they will be pleased to receive their friends."
