There is a 72-year-old Fred Baggesen in Erie in 1920, which is just over the Weld County line. Looks like he was a farm hand.

Was there any other Baggesens or any other information on Fred in that census?

No, it is a household of one. It is Weld County, Enumeration District 234, Page 6A. Someone wrote "Briggs Street" in the margin - that is now a . Looks like the marital status says "Wd" for widowed. He and his parents are Danish and are born in Denmark.

Sorry, left off a sentence. I meant to say that Briggs Street is about seven blocks long and is part of downtown Erie

Thank you so much for that information. I have another question. Is there any information on the street written in the margin ( Briggs Street). Is it where he lived or any living family members?

Thank you for your time.

I am a descendant of Mary Christina Baggesen and Harry Camphouse. I don't really know a lot about the Baggesen Family, but would like to know more. I know that her family was from Denmark, but I have not been able to find copies of records that indicate her parents names or their places of origin in Denmark. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
