I am trying to find information on a Benson family living a few years in Longmont, Boulder Co. CO. Albert Benson moved from IL to Longmont abt. 1870-1877. He married a local girl he calls Lenna abt 1870-1875 who signs her letter Linna (Maybe Melinda?) Her parents had a ranch about 5 miles out of town at that time, and she had several sisters and one younger brother. Albert and Lenna had a daughter, Grace b: bef Jan. 1875.

Albert Benson is an uncle by a former marriage, I have quite a few letters written by him to his father in Petaluma, CA. I would love to share them with his family, if I could find them. I would like to find out who Lenna was and find out more about Grace. I am new to research in Colorado; all help and suggestions will be welcomed.
