HOOPER MAN DIES SUDDENLY AT HIS FARM HOME
Monte Vista - Robert L Hughes, 78, who made his home in Hooper for the last thirty years, died suddenly at his farm home there Monday afternoon.
A brick contractor for many years, he had retired to devote his time to farming several years ago. He was born in Missouri Sept. 21, 1867.
Besides his wife he is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Price Crenshaw of Monte Vista and a sister, Stella George, of St. Joseph, MO.
Funeral services will be conducted by the Rev. Paul Leisure of Hooper at the Woods Chapel at 2 o'clocl Thursday afternoon and burial will be in Monte Vista Cemetery.
