Looking for info on Charles William and Sarah Teem or Twem Russell. They were married in Alamosa, Alamosa, Colorado 18 Dec 1881. They had at least 5 children, James William born sep 9 1882, Rowena Elizabeth, born jul 27 1884, Mary Adaline, born apr 23 1887, Leander La Flate, born sep 18 1889, and Rachel born nov 23 1892. I believe all of the children were born in Alamosa Colorado. Charles died in Idaho in 1915 in a horse and wagon accident. Not for sure where he is buried, but somewhere in Idaho. Sarah died in Colorado sometime before Charles died. Any information on any of these people would be greatly appreciated.

Since you are in Colorado, I would think that you would have two possibilities. There was a John Teem married Lucinda Kirby in Rabun County, Ga. He died in the Civil War. They, I believe had a daughter Sarah. Lucinda left Rabun County, Ga. with a Leander Burton and took her children. They, also, took his children by wife Jemima Teem, sister of John, with his Burton children.
Then there was a Leander Teem married Mary Woods in Rabun County, Ga. lived a while in Cherokee County, N.C. and then left for Idaho or Colorado. They probably had a Sarah, also. Pat Caldwell

My G. G. grand parents are Charles William Russell & Sarah Teem married in Alamosa CO Dec 18, 1881. They had 5 children, James W, Rowena Elizabeth, Mary Adaline, Leander LaFlate & Rachel, all born in CO. C.W. Russell was killed in 1911 by a run away team of horses, his grand son Fred Creason who is my great uncle was with him when it happened. Sarah's parents are Leander Teem & Mary Gilbert. They were in NC where Sarah was born in Mar 1850. Rowena Elizabeth, my G. grandmother's 2nd marriage to my G. grandfather James S. Underwood Apr 27 1897. Hope this helps and gets to you.
