Zebulon Clark, b. 3/23/1879, MS, born to Amanda Pearce, b. 1857 @ MS, and Zebulon Clark, b. 1855 @ MS. Amanda divorced, moved to Conejos Co., CO, and remarried to Salvador Chavez, in 1880. Zebulon, b. 1879, married on 3/15/1906, at Alamosa COO, to Vera Etta Harper.

Anyone have any information on this family?

I am also researching the family of Salvador Chavez and Abigail Pierce. My great grandmother was Salvador and abigail's daughter. Her name was Eliza Ana Chavez born 1881 in conjeos, Ephriam Co. I guess from your query Abigail was married before she married Salvador. Do you know the name of her 1st husband? I gather she divorced Salvador sometime before 1900. Do you have any information about that as well?

Chavez, Sofia Romero, born: 13 Dec 1886, died: 17 Mar 1978. Sjpouse: Willie Chavez

Also found Elsie Chavez (daughter of Salvador Chavez and Abagail Clark) in the Manassa Ward Members List (1909) of
The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

I am researching the PEARCE surname. Zebulon Clark's mother was Amanda Abigail "Abbie" PEARCE, b. 1/17/1857 @ Lee Co., MS, d. 11/24/1916 @ Conejos Co., CO. She was the sixth child of my great grandfather, Zebulon PEARCE and Zebulon's first wife, Rebecca Cudd.
Amanda married Benjamin Clark in MS and had one child, Zebulon Clark, b. 3/23/1879 @ Lee Co., MS.
For some unknown reason, Amanda went to Colorado with her child and on 4/3/1880, Amanda married Salvador Chavez.
Amanda and Salvador had ten children.

Conejos County Divorce Records - 07/31/1899 - 09/20/1915:
"Mandy Abigail Chaves and Salvador Chaves" - no date listed.

The 1900 census records show Amanda and Salvador to be divorced and listed as living in separate residences. Looks like they each have a few of their children living with them.
