Does anyone know if there is a death index for California that covers approximately 1936-1939? I've seen ones that are for earlier and later but not the years I need. I'm trying to find the date of death for my great-great uncle's wife, Marie Elise Schack. She was born in Denmark in the 1880s and died, I believe, in California around 1936 or 1937.
