I am researching my sons' father's family .

Their grand father died serving in the US Army in France in l945.

Their great grand father Rudolph Henry Swarowsky immigrated to Alaska from Austria. (His parents were Johan Swarowsky and Maria Krebs.)

Rudolph H. Swarowsky married his first wife Nellie Boswell Game at Cardova Alaska in 1919.

Rudolph married Martha McDonald at San Joaquin Co. California in 1935.

I beleive Rudolph died in June l966 in Fairbanks California. I understand he had two daughters, one who was a red head.

My sons both are red headed. We (my sons and I)don't keep in touch with their father, but are very interested in family history. My youngest son is especially interested in finding out if he is any relation to the conductor and composer Swarowsky from Vienna. He studied under a conductor who had studied under Swarowsky at a Aspen music festival. That is the first time we saw the name spelled exactly like we spell it.
