Hi,

My mother's mom gave birth to many children, one of whom she gave away without naming him on any records. It is my understanding that she did not do any formal adoption, but simply gave him to a freind or neighbor. They lived in San Diego County, though I'm not sure exactly where. My mother and grandmother are dead, as is the listed father (who is NOT really the father) so I am pretty stuck. My grandmother's name was Georgia Irene Himbury (married:Byers, then Huffman). Any help or ideas are appreciated!
