What I'm trying to do is to find my father I had gotten information that he died in Tifton GA. but I'm unable to fined an obit on him, I have tried the local newspapers with no luck. My records shows that he died Aug. 20th,1980 (If this is him)His name was Jerry Watson and he was born Feb.13th ,1920. I was about 8-9 years old when he left and I'm 48 now and have been looking for him for alot of years,and this is the closest I've ever gotten and I'm hopeing that this is him. I'm also working on our family history and found out that his father (my grandfather) is Buried here in Fort Wayne IN. and his name was Farris Watson and he died in 1948. I emailed the local paper ther in Tifton to see if they could check the obit archives but never got a responce from them. I would like to come to Tifton just to see what I could come up with, the social security death index shows that his last benefit was sent to Tifton GA. He also lived in California (San Diego area), for alot of years I have this very strong feeling that I need to find him Dead or alive, if you can help me please respond to this posting, I have alot of old photo's of old family members and my father.. It's been 30+ years
