I'm descended from James & Bridget Carbine of Michigan Bar via their son, Stephen & Kate [Macvey] Carbine, also of Michigan Bar, via James & Kate's daughter Ruby [Carbine] Bunker.

I am seeking both the US Port of Entry for both James and Bridget before they arrived in California. I have only that they were born in Ireland. Likewise, if possible, I'm seeking to learn whether Kate MacVey Carbine was native born or born in Ireland, and if the latter, what county? The records don't seem to be clear.

I know that James, Bridget, Stephen, Kate and related Carbine cousins' remains are buried in the former "St Josephs" Cemetery outside Michigan Bar, as are my parents cremains.
