I'd like to introduce myself. My name is Julia Johnson-Janzen. I am a descendant of William Norton Adams and living in Fair Oaks, CA. My Great Grandmother was Neva Rose Adams Romelsbacher and William Henry Adams was her father. Of course you probably know that William Henry's father was William Norton. I'm really confused about his wife's last name(s) I have an old photo handed down from my Great Grandmother that I wonder if perhaps was of William Norton. I'll look for it and see if I can post it to see if anybody recognizes it. This is incredibly difficult to find anything else about William Norton Adams! I just posted a lot of info about the move from WI to CA and while obtaining that I found that he offered another birthplace of Rochester, NY. They also lived in Centerville, WI, Deloit, WI, and somewhere in OR. I'd love to just get everybody together to share info, letters and photos to figure this out. Apparently there was one son Lorenzo Dow Adams who had a daughter Mabel Adams Ahart who was a very good historian in Sheridan and Lincoln, CA. I'm going to see what else I can glean from her.
