Elsie G. Clark

Elsie G. Clark died on Jan. 11, 2000, in Davis. Born on June 30, 1901, in Iowa, she was 98.

She moved to California with her family and attended school here, receiving her registered nursing degree in 1923. In 1925, she married D.G. Clark, M.D., and lived as a homemaker and community volunteer for 60 years in Santa Paula.

She was preceded in death by her husband and her daughter, Nancy C. Kelson.

She is survived by her son, R.G. Clark, M.D.; eight grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren. Her memory and devotion will be cherished by her family.
