Looking for information in re. to the family of the late Johnson Julius Kelley (born 1823 Missouri - died 1990 Bakersfield) and Shirley Eva Hickey (1926 Visalia - 2010 Bakersfield). The pair had four children, all born in Tulare, CA, between 1942-1956, and they were presumably married in Tulare as well.

I'm having trouble tracking records for marriages and divorces in California prior to 1966 in general, and any pointers as to how best to navigate these waters.
