Mrs. Mary Ramos Claimed By Death

Funeral servoces were being planned today for Mrs. Mary Ramos, aged rural resident, who died at her home three miles west of Turlock Monday night.

Mrs. Ramos, about 75, was a native of the Azore Islands. She came to the United States 51 years ago, spent a year in Massachusetts, and then moved to California. She had lived in various parts of California and moved to Turlock six years ago.

She is survived by her husband, Joseph; three sons, Joseph E. Martin, Lompoc, Calif; John Ferriera, Turlock, and Frank E. Martin, Newman; two daughters, Mrs. Marian Goularte, Modesto; Mrs. Minnie Faria, Turlock; two brothers, Joseph F. Costa, Lompoc; and Anthony F. Costa, San Luis Obispo.

Mrs. Ramos was a member of S. P. R. S. I., Gilroy, and U. P. P. E. C., Atwater.

Rites will be held Friday at 10 a.m. from Sacred Heart Church here. Interment will follow in Catholic Cemetery, Merced, under direction of the J. W. Guy Funeral Chapel, 247 North Broadway.
