found the one below, which I found very interesting.

OLD RESIDENT OF COUNTY CALLED BY DEATH

Mrs. Ellen T. Anaya, Early Day Pioneer of State Answers Final Summons: Lived in Modesto Forty-two Years

Mrs. Ellen T. Anaya, widow of the late Felix Anaya and one of Stanislaus County's pioneers, died at 11:30 o'clock
yesterday morning in a Modesto hospital following a brief illness.
The deceased was a native of Don Pedro Bar, Tuoloumne county, aged 65 years. She was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. A Owens, deceased. She moved with her (family) to this county when a girl and made her home near the Jackson School House, then called "The Pocket". She was married to Felix Anaya, whom she survived, in 1879 at the Modesto Catholic
Church. Her husband was then located in the general blacksmith business at the southeast corner of Tenth and Eye Streets. He died in 1915. For the past 42 years she had been a resident at the corner of I and Thirteenth streets.
She is survived by three sons, Felix F., Thomas M. and Frank H. Anaya, all of Modesto; a brother, Thomas O. Owens of Lockeford, and a sister, Mrs. Henry Curran, of Stanislaus County.
The funeral will be held from the chapel of Wood and Shannon, 921 Twelfth Street, at 9:30 o'clock Monday morning, thence to the St. Stanislaus Catholic church for services at 10 o'clock. The Rev. Father J. W. Galvin will officiate. Interment will be in the Catholic cemetery. Friends and acquaintances are invited to attend the services.
