If you access the Siskiyou County Library website and search the Historical databases you will find one on Major Overton. Link for library: http://www.snowcrest.net/siskiyoulibrary/

They only provide an index, but you can then contact the Genealogical Society of Siskiyou County to see if you can have someone do research. They will have a nominal charge.
