Catherine Eliza Howe, born Dec. 13, 1845 in Sauk Hawk County, Pennsylvania, came to Sierra County, California in the 1850's. She married Abraham Perry Harris in Camptonville, CA in 1860. They had 9 children, 8 born at Our House an inn they operated on Henness Pass Road in Sierra Co., CA. In 1883 Kate Howe Harris divorced Abe and left the area with the first 7 children.

Does anyone know anything about Kate after 1883. I have heard family rumors, but I am looking for confirmable info.
