Redding Record Searchlight (CA) - Monday, April 19, 1993
Author: THE RECORD SEARCHLIGHT

Gerald Stedman

FALL RIVER MILLS - Services for Gerald Albert Stedman , 60, of McArthur will be conducted at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the Seventh-day Adventist Church.

Burial will be at Pine Grove Cemetery.

Mr. Stedman died Thursday, April 15, 1993, at Mercy Medical Center in Redding.

Born Aug. 29, 1932, in Faith, S.D., he moved to McArthur from Port Orchard, Wash., in 1953.

Survivors include sons Charles of Burney and Ray of McCloud; daughter Carol Stedman of Fall River Mills; brothers Merle of Holly, Wash., Dewey of Wenatchee, Wash., and Leslie of Bremerton, Wash.; and six grandchildren.

Arrangements are being handled by McDonald's Burney Chapel.
---------------------

It seems that Charles now lives in McArthur, but has an unlisted number. An internet search came up with his P.O. Box, but that's all. Ray appears to still be in McCloud -- 530-964-3186

It appears that Gerald has no headstone --

If you'd like, I can try & see if I can get an obit from the local paper, which is the Intermountain News -- might have more info, might not. They have this year on microfilm. The caveat is that I've not tried to look at the microfilm there, so I don't know what the reader situation is. But I can try.
