Hi Judy
Thanks for that great research! I am still in the hunt for Joseph, and his parents. You say you have a John Corona, and how do you know it is Joseph's brother? I am doing this research for a friend of mine, and I have a birth certificate of Earnest E Corona who was the son of Joseph. It said that Joseph was born in San Benito, Calif. In 1882, was there a town of San Benito or was that the county? Is there any birth record of Joseph or John Corona?
Also the mother's maiden name from the certificate was Alcantar. I think her mother's name was Felippa Alcantar, who was the mother to Elsie Corona. Another possibility would be in Merced County where the Alcantar's were from. Thanks for your help.
Jim
