With the 1930 census we were able to track our family to Santa Maria. Looking for information/contacts on:

Daniel L. Smith born 1883 TN died 1946 in Santa Barbara Co.,CA
Mary(Jane) Smith born 19 Aug 1864 TN died 27 May 1949-buried Santa Maria Cemetery 31 May 1949.

Mary Jane Tucker was first married to Napoleon B. Medley at age 14 in Putnam Co.,TN They had 11 children. Nep died in 1910 and Mary Jane married Mr. Smith.

We traced them to Indiana in the 1920 census where Shelie, Toy and Bradley Gustin Medley were living with the Smith's. Bradley stayed to farm and on the 1930 census had a wife, Leitita and three children.

Toy, Shelie and Bradley Gustin and wife, Leitita are buried in and about Santa Barbara Co.,CA. CA death list also shows a Willard Medley born 28 Dec 1921 in IN who died Mar 1983 in Santa Maria, CA.
