Hansbrough, George W., died 5 Dec 1898 at home of son Jack Hansbrough in San Francisco, California. Age 73, nearly 74. Native of Virginia. Pioneer of Boulder where he owned considerable property. Did much to develop the mining business in Boulder Country. He left here just a few months ago. He and wife were visiting the west coast when he died of heart trouble. 'A robust, hale old man.' Survived by wife [Mary E. (Lowery) Hansbrough] and others.
