I am searching for cemeteries in the San Francisco and Alameda area that might still hold records of small children in around 1876-1880. I am looking for records of three girls with the last name Nietenstein that probably died during this time. I understand that sometimes children with illnesses were buried away from adults because they were not certain that the disease did not still exist after death. So, I am interested in cemeteries where small children are buried during this time period. One of the girls' names was Louise and she was born in 1877. According to census of 1880, none of the girls were alive then, only a little 3 month old brother, Louis. The parents names were Frederick and Charlotte Nietenstein. They attended St. Paulus Lutheran Church in San Francisco during this time. The parents are buried in Evergreen Cemetery in Alameda but there is no records there of any children by that last name.
