I don't know the name or if it was Presbytarian.
However, there was an orphanage on 37th Avenue
between Cabrillo and Balboa Streets, in the
Richmond District. It was still there in 1960,
but by 1968 had been torn down and apartments,
if I recall, were built on the lot. It was rather
large and imposing to me as a child. I don't
recall the year that it was demolished. I just
remember there was iceplant in front. <g>
