Unidentified pictures, need help

I know that my gggrandmother married name was Rose/Rosie Moore. She was married possibly to an Andrew Jackson or Andrew Jackson Moore between 1875-1880 in California.
Her daughter Birdie Moore (born 1880 in CA) married William Conn and had a son Adrian Stewart (Ace) Conn.
She then married George Edward Allen born in San Bernardino County. George was the grandson or great grandson of Harrison Oliver who was married to Dorothy Martin, Hannah Martin and Rebecca Butler. They had 4 girls
Juliette A Allen who changed her name to Ruth Juliette and married John Garfield McLean.
Mildred Bernice Allen who married a Purkey
Thelma Isabelle who married a Purkey
Georgia Lee Allen who married several times.
Rose's daughter Lucy Moore (born 1885 in Lake County California) married George W Amy in Dec 1903/04.
They had 4 children, two boys and two girls. I know the outcome of the boys but haven't gotten a lot about the girls yet.
The first dtr was Kathleen Octavia Amy who married a Weyant.
The second was Patricia Elinor Amy who married a Minger.
Rose had a son Charles (born betw 1880-1882 in CA) whom we know nothing about.
Rose had a daughter Jenny (born 1887 in CA) whom we know nothing about.
I have several family pictures from my late grandmother's photo albums that I can't identify and wonder if there are any distant relatives that would recognize any of these people attached below.
To our knowledge all of these pictures would have been taken in the L.A. area of California.

Marguerite "Daisy" Brown Eddy (wife of James W. Eddy) is reported to have died in Redlands on December 27, 1892 at the age of 22, only two months after they married. Daisy was from Cleveland and James from Boston. It's not known how they met, got married, or what they were doing in Redlands.
If anyone has any ideas on where we could look for information about this mystery, please let us know. Thanks in advance -

My great-grandmother's brother, Peder Tøfting Bach and his wife Kirsten Marie Nielsen sailed to America from Denmark in 1896 on the ship called Norge out of Frederikshavn, Denmark bound for Worcester, Mass. with their children:

Emma Sofie Caroline Bach aged 11 3/4
Ditlev Gotthard Mourad Bach aged 9
Gerda Malvine Kirstine Bach aged 7
Johannes Andreas Christian Bach aged 04 3/4
Hilma Valborg Bach aged 2
Emmann Bach ... would have been one year old in August of 1896

All the children were born in Thisted, Denmark as was their dad Peder Tøfting Bach. Peder and his wife Kirsten were married in Tilsted, Thisted Amt. in Denmark.

The Ellis Island record show that the family did arrive in U.S.A.

There weere two other children born in the U.S.A. - Alwin/Alvin/Alwyn E. Bach, born in Jan. 1898 in Worcester, Mass. and Hazel Mergretta Bach, born on May 21, in Worcester, Mass.

I have help from kind people to learn that one of the children, Johannes Andreas Christian Bach whose name was Anglicized to John moved to California.

Johns Bach's SSN 553-46-2341, born 25 Feb 1891, lived at 92373 Redlands, San Bernadino, California, died Jan 1983.

John A Bach is listed in the California Death Index, 1940-1997. Here his mother's maiden name is given as Sorensen, but that is possibly a mistake. His mother's maiden name was actually Nielsen as shown on the scanned original wedding entry as found on the Danish church online archive.

John A. Bach's wife was Ruth Beatrice Bach, SSN 553462341, same as John's, born Dec 7, 1896 in Illinois. She died on April 24, 1979 in San Bernadino. her death is listed in the California Death Index from 1940-1997.

I need someone to help me by looking up the obituary for both John and Ruth.

Edwina was born 26 Nov 1895 in Arizona & died 27 Sep 1970 in Los Angeles Co., CA. They had 1 daughter, Winifred Elizabeth born 7 Jun 1930 in LA, CA. Percy was the son of Francis Marion Poore & Elizabeth Joslin (Joslen) both of Calhoun Co., IL. Percy's CDI states his mother's maiden name was Booth, but that was incorrect - the Booth was his grandmother.

Archie 'Arch' or 'Artie' B. Poore & wife Liddy or Lydia. Archie was born 16 Sep 1885 in Belleview, Calhoun, IL and died 24 Dec 1969 in Los Angeles Co., CA. I have no information on Liddy, nor any information of children born to this couple. Archie was the son of Francis Marion Poore & Elizabeth Joslin (Joslen) both of Calhoun Co., IL. Archie was a truck driver.

So research is not duplicated, I have: all censuses 1860-1930, all CDI's & CBI's, all military records and the cemetery records of Francis, Elizabeth, Ruth & Ralph. I am looking for more information on these families or to have living relatives contact me.

P E Flodine was listed on the San Bernardino Princinct No. 21 voter register in 1914, also his wife, Anna. The address given at that time was: 445 Mt Vernon Avenue. His given name was Peter Erick Flodine and was born in Sweden June 17 1858 and died November 12 1915. Anna Peterson was born in 1862, also in Sweden. They moved to California after the 1910 Federal Census where they had been living in Iowa.

I'm looking for an obituary for James Malcolm Dyer born 31 Jan 1937 in Los Angeles (CA birth index), died 18 Apr 1996 in San Bernardino (CA death index).

According to SDDI his last residence was Green Valley Lake, San Bernardino, California.

He has the same name as my father, and my father was named after a great-uncle. There is a branch of our Dyers who came to Los Angeles, California, so I'm curious to find out whether his name indicates a connection or is just a coincidence.

My California Dyers were four brothers, Richard, Bert, Marion, and Hugh and they moved there in the early 1900s. (I have tracked them through census records and obituaries)

I need an obituary for my Aunt Ethel (Schreiber) Jandle who died, according to the Social Security Death Index, in the Fontana area of San Bernardino County.

She died on March 29, 1996. I know rather little about her as she moved to California from Pennsylvania and New Jersey. Her family never contacted any of us when she died, and we only found out when one of my aunts sent her a Christmas card and it came back "Deceased".

I think I tried emailing the Newspaper in the Fontana area and they never responded.

John Wesley Elkins was born in Iowa 7/12/1879, and died in San Bernardino County, CA 3/7/1961. He farmed in the Fontana Township area for a number of years. Was wife's name was Madeline. John Elkins gained notoriety early in life, murdering his parents in Iowa at age 10 in 1889. He served 12 years of a life sentence at the Anamosa Pentientiary (where I work). Is it possible to locate an obituary for him? Also, is there anyone who can photograph and e-mail a picture of his gravestone?

He applied for his SS card in Dec 1936 in San Burnadino, CA. His wife's maiden name was Nelda Elizabeth SEAGER. She was born in York, York Co., PA. She grew up in Anaconda, Deer Lodge Co., MT. Her father was the Mayor there from 1931-1933.

Samuel's parents as listed on his SS App. were Lovel & Bessie Maude (LINDSAY) MERRITT. Can anyone help me with this family? I am related through his wife Nelda Elizabeth (SEAGERS) MERRITT.

Luther Willis WARREN (born 1864 Macomb Co., MI; died 24 May 1940 in Loma Linda, San Bernardino, California) and his wife:

Jessie "Belle" PROCTOR (born May 1865 MI; died 19 Jul 1960 in San Bernardino Co., CA).

I was very fortunate to find their death dates in the California Death Records at Rootsweb.com. Luther WARREN was said to be buried in Montecito Cemetery, Loma Linda, CA.

In his earlier days, Luther WARREN became a minister for the Seventh Day Adventist church. He met his wife Jessie "Belle" PROCTOR at a Michigan tent meeting where she was the organist! They had one son, a baby boy, who died only a few months old in 1889, name unknown to me. Thanks for any info or advice. Karen Mohr, mohr@buffnet.net

His wife was Elizabeth Miller, Born in Missouri need date of birth and place in Missouri, if know. She died 8/28/1921 in San Bernardino, California not sure if she is buried in Pioneer Cemetery or Mt. View Cemetery on Highland St., San Bernardino, Ca.

They had Five children, names were William, Jr., Matilda [Virginia], Emma, Fanny & Charles.

Matilda is the only sibling I have information on since she married my grgr Uncle Walter Alexander Shay 3/1892.
She was born 10/20/1871 in San Bernardino, Ca.Died 7/15/1954.

Would appreicate information on her siblings and parents!

William and Nettie Harmony St.Clair left Randolph Co., Mo. and
moved to San Bernadino, Ca sometime around 1915-18. They
had children Carlos, Vesta and Lucille. Lucille was born in
San Ber. around 1918. Vesta married Harry Edson Fosdick sometime around 1917 and they had 2 children, Kathryn, 3 + and Harry
Jr., 1 1/2 in 1920 census.Between 1920 and 1930 they
divorced. Vesta married Fred Paole. They have a daughter, Ouida,
(not sure that is correct spelling) and the Fosdick children are
with Fred and Vesta in the 1930 census. Looking for more information
on Kathryn Fosdick and Harry Fosdick, Jr. I believe Harry, Jr. died
24 Jan. 1969 in San Bernadino. ( Anyone out there do obit look up?)

My great Grandmother was Margaret Ellen Stansberry. She married John H Jackman 24 Dec 1879 in Van Buren County, Iowa. John drown in a well on their farm in 1890. Margaret remarried William H Allaback 12 Mar 1891. After William's death i n 1912, I am unable to find a trace of Margaret. She may have been living with her sister Flora May who married John BUdd Allaback. The California Death index shows Flora May passing 28 Nov 1948 and her husband 10 Dec 1946. I would greaatly appreciate any help in tracing Margaret. I believe she passed away in the 1920's or 1930. Any ideas would be appreciated.
