Ok so you have peaked my curiosity. What was mysterious about her death? How did she die? I found James W. Eddy of Boston in 1880 census, in 1900-1920 he boarded in NY and Massachusetts. He was listed as widower. However, as a much older man in 1930 age 65 he was newly re-married to Luella E. Eddy age 46 and had a 4 month old daughter Ann and was living in NY as a insurance salesman. Dying to know what happened to Daisy and how they ended up in California from the east originally. Did you read about this story somewhere. I am from Boston.
