My Grandfather John Hardgrave married Amy Powers form Greenville. Her Mother was a Hamilton who married Carmack Powers. They were in and around Big Valley (now under Lake Almanor). My maternal Grandfather Herman Evans married Alma McKenzie. Grandfather Herman came from Tenn. Grandmother Alma's parents were John McKenzie from New Brunswick, Canada and Elvie Colby from Canton, New York. Any info. relating to these sernames would be most appreciated.
