You can order copies of vital records as early as 1905. Do yourself a favor and order copies of records from the county the birth, marriage, or death occurred. You can order from Sacramento but they are so slow to send the any copies of records.

Effie U. Stalsworth Willings, age 93, of New Market, passed away Saturday, June 13, 2009.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Donald F. Willings; parents, Grover and Mary Stalsworth; son-in-law, James Jones; granddaughter, Patricia Ann Willings; brother, Amos Stalsworth, and sisters, Osa Livingston and Ella Mae Hartley.

She is survived by her children, Betty L. (Lonas) Hodge, Coy C. (JoAnn) Willings and Mary J. Jones; 8 grandchildren; 18, great-grandchildren; and 5 great great grandchildren. Sisters, Trula Crawford, Ruby Bustler and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be at 8 p.m. Tuesday, June 16, 2009 at Fielden Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Henry Davidson officiating. Interment will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday, June 17, at Nances Grove Cemetery. The family will receive friends Tuesday, 6-8 p.m. prior to the service.

WILLINGS, COY CLEVELAND - age 73, of Jefferson City, TN was born on December 22, 1935 and went to be with the Lord on June 22, 2009 at his home, surrounded by his family. He was retired from Norfolk-Southern Railroad after 34 years of service and was a member of Lebanon Baptist Church in Talbott, TN. Preceded in death by parents, Donald F. and Effie U. Willings; daughter, Patricia Ann Willings; brothers-in-law, James Jones, Everett Kinkead, Kyle Bellamy and J. C. Caldwell. He is survived by his loving and devoted wife of 47 years, JoAnn K. Willings; children, Ricky A. (Susan) Willings, and Deborah C. (David) Rutledge; grandchildren, Benjamin (Jessica) Willings, Anita (Brian) Messer, Stuart Willings, James Rutledge; sisters, Betty L. (Lonas) Hodge and Mary J. Jones; several sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews and cousins. Funeral service will be held at 8:00 p.m. Wednesday evening, June 24, 2009 from the Farrar Jefferson City Chapel with Reverend R. J. Seal officiating. The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. prior to the service. Family and friends will meet at 10:45 a.m. Thursday morning at Jefferson Memorial Gardens for an 11:00 a.m. graveside interment service.
