Long Time Resident of Napa, Lake Counties Dies

JOHN STEVEN PINER, for 20 years a resident of Napa, passed away yesterday morning at 11:30 o’clock at 132-B Alabama
Street, Vallejo, where he had been ill for some time.

Deceased was a native of Kelseyville, Calif., and was 68 years of age at the time of his death. He was well known in
Napa as well as in Lake County, where he spent his younger years.

He is survived by a widow, Mrs. Elizabeth PINER, and a son, Charles B. Piner of Napa, and a daughter, Mrs. Edna May BUTLER of Vallejo, and several grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held tomorrow afternoon at 2 o’clock from the Treadway parlors. Interment will take place at
Tulocay cemetery.
