Louise Carolyn Mott, 76, passed away peacefully on Feb. 2, 2007, in Napa after suffering through a chronic illness. She was born in Oak Park, Ill, to Joann and Walter Thode. She attended a Lutheran school in Oak Park, graduating from Proviso High School and attended Carthage College in Illinois. She and her devoted husband Bill, married 52 years, reared four wonderful children: John William Mott, Caroly Louise Witt, Paul Norman Mott, and Robert Walter Mott. John and his wife Rosie reside in Patterson, Calif., with their son, Masi. Carolyn and her husband Andreas Witt, along with two beautiful daughters, Danielle and Rachael, live in Stockton. Paul and his wife Ruby live in Ashland, Ore. Robert lives in Pasadena.
Louise devoted hr life to her husband and children, selflessly loving and caring for them. She volunteered 12 years at the Discovery Shop of the Cancer Society in Napa. Her giving nature and friendly personality were always present to help brighten the lives of others.
A celebration of her life is planned at a memorial service to be held on Saturday, Feb. 10 at 11 a.m. at Richard Pierce Funeral Service, 1660 Silverado Trail, Napa. A gathering of family and friends will take place at her home immediately following the service.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Lung Association, P.O. Box 1746, Santa Rosa, CA 95402. You may sign on the register book and leave your condolences for the family at www.rpfsc. com.
