Death Claims Joseph Cota

Mr. Joseph Antone Cota, 67, resident of Gonzales died Sunday evening in a local hospital after a short illness.
Mr. Cota, a native of Monterey county, was born near Gonzales and he had resided for almost his entire lifetime in that district. Surviving relatives are his wife and a daughter, Mrs. Frank H. Vogel of Gonzales.
The body has been removed to the Muller mortuary and it will be taken to the family home on ninth street, Gonzales, from where the funeral will be held at 9:30 o'clock Wednesday morning. Mass will be celebrated at 10 o'clock in St. Theodore's church, followed by Interment in the Gonzales cemet¬ery. The rosary will be recited at 8 o'clock Tuesday evening at the home.
