Not sure I'm in the right place but thought I'd ask anyway. Where might I find info regarding Pomo Indian ancestry? My husband's gggrandfather married a Pomo Indian (b 1845- d. 1897) in 1861 someplace in or about Mendocino County and I'd like to try to find out something about her and her husband. I have her Indian name and the names of her parents. Any help anyone out there might have would certainly be appreciated.
