SHIPLEY – In San Anselmo, May 1, 1972, Charles T. Shipley, beloved husband of Mabel E. Shipley, loving father of Mrs. Marilyn Kenney of Dobbins, Ca., Fredric C. and Gerald L. Shipley of San Rafael, Wendell Blodgett of Oceanside and Arien Blodgett of Sparks, Nev., loving brother of Mrs. Walter Anderson of Eureka, Mrs. Lester Teegarden of Hayfork, Ca., and Eugene E. Shipley of Martinez. Also survived by 21 grandchildren and 14 nieces and nephews. A native of Dora, Mo., aged 58 years. A member, past commodore and director of the San Rafael Yacht Club; a member of the United States Power Squadron; Flotilla No. 14, United States Coast Guard Auxiliary of San Rafael; a former harbor patrol officer with the San Rafael Police Department and a former __?__ deputy sheriff with the marine patrol, County of Marin; a member of the Amalgamated Transit Union, Division 1225 of San Francisco.

Friends are invited to attend the funeral Friday, May 5, 1972 at 11 a.m. at the Harry M. Williams Mortuary, San Rafael. Interment, Browns Valley Cemetery, Browns Valley, Ca.
