Hi, I am moving next week to a home in Grub Gulch. I am busy collecting info on the area, as well as hunting up info. I may be able to find the orbits as well as get photos of this area. The original town burned down. There is still some photos available on line & I will be going to the Coarsegold Museum soon. I can also check local newspapers archives. If you still want help e-mail me. It may take a week for me to answer at most. I've a few days before moving from a bordering county. I've a list of books some locals recommended to get. If I s;pot anything with the surname, I'll let you know. The Gertrude school is still standing a few miles before Grub Gulch. That was the only school back there. Ahwahnee is about 5 miles east of Grub Gulch. I will be living down the hill from the Grub Gulch cemetery, and have several of the old gold mines on my property. The Josephine is one of them.
