Cora E. Krout

Mrs. Cora Esther Krout, 76, died in a local hospital Wednesday.

Mrs. Krout, a native of Crocker, Mo., had lived in Madera for the past five years.

Surviving are five sons, C.B. Krout of Enid, Okla.; Oscar E., Rockland (sic), Ovid W. and Delmar I. of Concord, and Robert T., Norwalk; three daughters, Mrs Mamie Fulks, Stockton; Mrs. Susie Evans, Madera and Mrs Selma (sic) Kleiber, Martinez; a sister Mrs. Stella Campbell of Oregon and a brother Frank LEE, Napa, also26 grandchildren and a large number of great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held Saturday morning at 10 o'clock in the Madera Funeral Home Chapel, with burial in Arbor Vitae Cemetery. Rev. Lawrence Wood will officiate.

Corrections to the obit:
Oscar lived in Rocklin, CA. (He was my grandfather, and I grew up in Rocklin, so I'm sure about this one.)

Mrs. Kleiber's name was Thelma, not Selma.

The first son listed, C.B. (Cyrus Brook), was actually the son of the first wife of Thomas C. Krout, Laura Groves. She died about 1890 - 1895.
