George H. Ebenhack
George Henry Ebenhack of Woodland died at his home on Jan. 30, 2004. He was 61.
Ebenhack was born in Westwood, where he attended schools and graduated from Anderson High School. He served in the U.S. Air Force from 1960-64, later graduating from Humboldt State University, where he earned a bachelor's degree.
Ebenhack was a deputy sheriff with the Tehama County Sheriff's Department for 25 years and lived in Woodland for the past three years.
He is survived by his wife, Margaret Ebenhack of Woodland; daughters Denise Ebenhack, Michelle Chapin and Jennifer Floyd of Red Bluff, and Janeane Ramirez of Sacramento; son Todd Ebenhack of Red Bluff; brother Pete Ebenhack of Stockton; and sister Paula Burnham of Red Bluff. Six grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews also survive. Preceding him in death was his son James Kuxhausen in 1995.
Private family services will be at a later date. In lieu of flowers, the family requests contributions in his memory be made to United Cerebral Palsy. Arrangements are under the direction of Evergreen Funeral Service of Woodland.
