I just recieved a death cert from CA and find it listing last address of decedent as 11587 Sheldon St., Roscoe, LA Co., CA
None of my map services can find Roscoe. Is it a historic/ghost town or district? The date of death was 1 AUG 1944.
Also... he was cremated with no reference as to disposition of the ashes. Cremated at LA Co. Crematory. Does that mean he was in poverty? He had no local family to take care of things.
Anyone willing to lookup an obit for me? His name was DALLAS COOK.
