I do not charge and any pictures can be scanned or mailed to you. Happy to help!

My Grand Mother, Mary Adaline (Garrett) George b TX Aug 9, 1878 d Pomona, CA 1956/7. I am trying to put together a family tree and so of corse any information will help. For my life I can not find where they were married. Could you please send a photo of my Grand Mother's grave, it may help clear up some questions. Thank you. DWG

Do you ever go to Pomona Cemetery? My great great grandfather is buried at Pomona Cemetery, Oscar Rollen Vickery, buried Apr 7, 1909 in space 2 of lot 261. He was 35 years old. A tree fell on him. A stillborn baby "Infant Vickery" was buried April 13, 1896 in space 3 of lot 261, which is right next to where Oscar was buried. They don't have any other info on the baby.

Is it possible to get a photo of both plots?

Thanks,

Hi,
I used to visit the cemetery a few times a month but haven't been in a long while. I think this would be a great reason to return - I would be more than happy to take pictures of these graves. What a very tragic way for your gggrandfather to die at such a young age!

Not sure when I'll be able to make the trip - Hopefully I can go next week, if that's ok. I have a digital camera & can email the pics. Did you want me to look for obits while I'm there? The Pomona library has the old newspapers on microfilm. It may have an article on the accident & possibly on the baby. No charge for any of the above.

Let me know where to email the pictures. You can email me at TriciaPutnam@Yahoo.com
