Hi all,
My ancestor Adin W. Williams was last on the Great Register as of 14 Jul 1888 in Downey CA. I have written twice for a death certificate to LA county for 1880-1890 but they cannot find one. I checked Ancestry's LA Times obits but could not find him.

He was born in NY in 1804, lived in Santa Clara in 1875, then Santa Ana in 1880, then Downey. Would love to find a date of death, an obit, or ideally a death certificate. If his dc contains his mother's maiden name (my brick wall) you will hear screams of joy!
