Hello,

I am looking for information on an ancestor who left NOVA SCOTIA, CANADA in 1887, he had 2 wives, one was BELLA MITCHELL d. 1903 no children and the second was FRANCES VIOLA MCDOWELL (1880-1941) they had 5 children.

John David McLeod acquired 75 acres (1893) at the present intersection of VALLEY and SAN GABRIEL BLVD. John David was a contracter and house builder and later became director of two banks and had 200 feet of buisness frontage occupied by stores.

I hope that perhaps someone might be able to connect me with anyone related or who might be able to access some old land records, buisness records and the jackpot would be an old photo, being he was a buisness man, perhaps some exsist.
