Hi,
I am trying to locate a possible marriage certificate for Lassen county. Here is my problem, I only know the grooms name and the first name of the bride. I am not sure they got married here, and I dont know when they got married.
I have just located the obit and gravesite, he was buried in Pine Grove cemetery in McArthur,Ca but lived in Nubieber at the time of death, he worked for the railroad.

Does the Lassen county clerk have an alphabetical marriage index . Will they do a 5 year search for a fee??
Is it easy to obtain a marriage certificate in Lassen county?
His name is William Haffner born 11/27/1912 in Oklahoma, her name is Annette, this is all I know about her, she worked in the Railroad restaurant
Thanks for any help.
