My great grandfather, John McTeer (1877-1912), born in Collinsville, IL, moved to Bakersfield about 1910 where he died in 1912. He was the son of Andrew Jackson McTeer (1837-1920). Most of John's sisters also moved there connected to the 1612 Lake Street address. Seeking others whose surnames might have crossed the McTeers.
