Without a birthdate or county of birth, it will be more difficult to locate the baby. Bishop is a very small town and Wilton was apparently well-known. If this took place in Bishop, someone must know something. I'm sure you'll find more clues.

I actually saw your other posts about finding your half brother. It's wonderful that you were able to find Doris and she's still living! Have you tried to contact Wilton Cornell's family? Is Doris still in touch with them? Perhaps they know about the baby. If you need contact information, I believe I have found Wilton's wife & children/grandchildren. If his wife was Hazel Taylor Cornell, I believe she is still living (age 92/93) and she is listed in Bishop. I found grandkids on Facebook.
