Looking for biographical material on William Hammarstrand who was elected Inyo county clerk in 1871. Since that election was contentious, there may be biographical information in the Independent and an election newspaper called the Inyo Lancet for 1871. He was elected to office on Sept. 11, 1871 and again on Oct. 20, 1873.
